Green Food Generation is my next book and online TV project. It's my look inside the food world and a chance for me to connect with some of Australia's best chefs and restaurateurs. It's all geared up for you foodies who want to go behind the scenes in restaurants, bars and cafes to find out how to go a little greener. |
So, over the next four months I'll be visiting 24 chefs who are sharing with me their ideas, their stories and food that embrace sustainability. From this I'll be distilling the information and translating this to present some sound ideas on how you can make a greener kitchen at home.
Join me on facebook to follow the journey in the making as I hit the road in early June. Look out for my 10 part online TV series about the project and then the book that'll be released in November this year in Australia.
I'm also proud to say that sales of this book will contribute to OzHarvest which organises food pick-ups from restaurants and catering outfits and delivers this to the needy and homeless. It's an awesome organisation set up by an old friend of mine Ronni Kahn. OzHarvest is operating in Sydney and Newcastle but were are trying to expand the service to Brisbane and Adelaide.
